For the last several
years Monica Bongart has been revealing the power of technology for business
and the everyday user. With her mantra of, "Providing clarity,
seeking productivity and empowering the everyday user.", as a guide, Monica carefully leads clients
through the process of developing a well-connected and useful digital presence
concentrating on the productive use of mobile devices and social media as both
a brand presence and as an effective tool for managing news and information.
Prior to her current
work Monica spent ten years within a large financial corporation. Here,
she provided human resource consultation for mid to upper management and
developed strong working relationships with employees at all levels through ongoing
training and communication. But it was her affinity for technology that
offered the opportunity to work with data management, reporting and end-user
applications. From there she moved into a Business Systems position
working as a conduit between the creators of technology and users of
technology. In this role she championed the needs of the end-users with that of
policy compliance and collaborated with application designers to create useful
online tools.
Monica is the owner of MPowered Solutions where as a
Solutions Consultant she helps clients manage technology tools, applications
and devices both personally and professionally and works with businesses to
design and launch a social media presence. While many organizations
and individuals are quick to leap forward to establish their mark and
incorporate social media tactics in marketing their brand or themselves,
Monica’s primary emphasis on social media education and sustainability is
what’s sets her apart from many in this fast growing industry.
An advocate for media
literacy and safety she also speaks with organizations and networking groups
about the need for media literacy and the importance of having a strong social
media presence in our digital world.
